Ai Hosokawa

Born in 1972. After graduating from university, she went to Italy alone to learn about cooking. After returning to Japan, she presided over a cooking class in Tokyo. She moved to Kumamoto in 2009 and hosts cooking classes and craft exhibitions at "taishoji". Her books include "Shokukicho", "Vegetables" (Little More), "Pasta Books" and "Standard" (Anonima Studios).
MARUFUKURO 's cooking supervision, she treats the ingredients as if she were listening to them, and teaches not to feel the chef's actions. She supervises not only cooking but also the interior and tableware of "carta.", and keeps in mind "hospitality that invites an important friend to his home."
